following letter is from Mr. Richard Meier, Class of 1952:

- I read
with interest the posting on the alumni page from Mr.
Barres who
graduated from P.S. 118 in 1928. I graduated in 1952 and I had no idea
P.S.
118 had been around so long. A small group of the 1952 graduates had a
"reunion" in October 2006 in Wyoming (it was the most convenient
location).
We went through our graduation picture and were able to identify almost
half of the people (53 out of 112). Now we are trying to fill in the names
of the other 59 and locate those we have already identified.
Can someone advise me where the records are held? Knowing NYC's
penchant
- for records I am sure they are
somewhere in the Board of Education system.
